Commas Qualifier FAQ

Qualifier enriches your leads with credit, income, and funding data so you can prioritize the highest-value prospects, then sync that data into your CRM. This guide covers how Qualifier works, the consent it requires, how to read enriched data, and how to connect GoHighLevel, Close, or HubSpot.

Getting Started

What is Qualifier and what does it do?

  • Qualifier enriches your leads with financial data so you can focus outreach on the people most likely to buy

  • For each lead, it returns data such as credit score, income, available credit, funding estimates, and BNPL eligibility

  • You can organize leads automatically with qualification rules, then push the enriched data into your CRM

  • The goal: stop spending equal effort on every lead, and concentrate on the ones with the means to purchase

Where do I find Qualifier in Commas?

  • Open the Qualifier section from the main navigation

  • First-time users are taken through an onboarding flow (agreement, consent setup, and CRM connection) before the lead workspace unlocks

How do I get set up?

  • Complete the Qualifier onboarding, which walks you through:

    • Reviewing and signing the Qualifier agreement (Terms of Service)

    • Adding the required consent language to your lead form and confirming it is in place

    • Connecting your CRM (GoHighLevel or Close)

    • Optionally enabling Smart Enrich so new leads are enriched automatically

  • Once onboarding is complete, your lead workspace is available

Consent and Compliance

Why is consent required?

  • Qualifier performs a soft credit inquiry to enrich a lead. Soft inquiries do not affect the lead's credit score

  • Because this involves consumer financial data, each lead must consent before they are enriched

  • You are responsible for collecting that consent on your lead form. Qualifier asks you to attest during onboarding that the consent language is in place

What consent language do I add to my form?

  • Add a clear disclosure directly above or next to your form's submit button (not hidden in fine print). For example:

    • "By clicking this button, I consent to the collection and use of my information for a soft credit pull which will not affect my credit."

  • The disclosure must be acknowledged before the form can be submitted (for example, a required Terms and Conditions checkbox)

Do I need to update my privacy policy?

  • Yes. Your privacy policy should disclose that you use a third party for identity verification and a soft credit inquiry for pre-qualification, that soft inquiries do not affect credit scores, and how consumers can opt out

  • This is part of the agreement you sign during onboarding

What is the "Qualifier Consent Granted" field?

  • It is a field you create in your CRM to record that a lead gave consent

  • Your form/automation sets it to "Yes" when the lead submits with the consent box checked

  • Setup differs slightly per CRM (see the integration sections below)

Enriching Leads

How does a lead get enriched?

  • Leads enter Qualifier (imported, created from your form, or synced from your CRM)

  • You enrich them one of two ways:

    • Manually: select one or more leads and choose Enrich

    • Automatically (Smart Enrich): turn on Smart Enrich so new leads are enriched as they arrive

  • Enrichment runs in the background; each lead shows a status while it processes and once it completes

Which data providers does Qualifier use?

  • Qualifier draws on multiple enrichment providers: HeroPixel, HighSale, and LeadFi

  • The provider is determined by your account configuration; you do not need to choose one per lead

  • Different providers return different fields, so the exact data available can vary by lead

Can I enrich leads in bulk?

  • Yes. Select multiple leads (or select all) and choose Enrich to process them together

  • You can also export a filtered set of leads to CSV for use elsewhere

Reading Enriched Data

What data fields does Qualifier show?

  • Depending on the provider, an enriched lead can include:

    • Credit score

    • Yearly income

    • Debt-to-income ratio

    • Average credit age

    • Available credit and credit limit

    • Utilization

    • Late payments and collections

    • Funding estimate and funding estimate (BNPL)

    • Approval rate

    • Total monthly obligation

    • Financial power, home owner status, home value, age, and retirement assets

  • Open a lead's detail panel to see its full enriched profile and which provider supplied the data

How do I filter and sort by enriched data?

  • Use the filter controls to narrow leads by fields like credit score, income, debt-to-income, BNPL funding estimate, and more

  • Sort the list by any available field to put your strongest leads at the top

  • Switch between table and board (kanban) views depending on how you like to work

What do BNPL and funding estimate mean?

  • Funding estimate is an approximation of the financing a lead could likely access, useful for gauging buying power for higher-ticket offers

  • BNPL refers to Buy Now, Pay Later eligibility; the BNPL funding estimate reflects what they could likely transact via installment financing

  • Use these to prioritize leads who can afford your offer and to tailor the payment options you present

Qualification Rules (Autopilot)

What are qualification rules?

  • Rules automatically label leads based on their enriched data, so you do not have to sort them by hand

  • For example: "credit score 700 or higher → Highly Qualified," or "qualifies for financing → Premium Financing"

  • Qualifier includes starter templates (such as Highly Qualified, Premium Financing, Flexible Payment, and Disqualified) that you can use or customize

How do I manage rules?

  • Open the Qualification rules area to create, edit, reorder, enable/disable, and delete rules

  • You can run rules immediately across all existing leads, not just new ones

  • Combined with Smart Enrich, new leads can be enriched and labeled automatically as they come in

Connecting Your CRM

Which CRMs can I connect, and how does the data get there?

  • Qualifier supports GoHighLevel and Close as connected CRMs during onboarding

  • Enriched data is synced into your CRM using Zapier: a trigger called Qualify Leads (FanBasis) fires when a lead is qualified, and a step in your CRM updates the matching contact/lead

  • HubSpot is supported via the same Zapier pattern (see the HubSpot section below)

  • Before mapping data, create a matching custom field in your CRM for each Qualifier data point you want to store

Which enriched fields can I sync to my CRM?

  • The Zapier integration can map these fields to your CRM (create a matching custom field for each one you want):

    • Credit Score

    • Average Credit Limit

    • Total Credit Limit

    • Utilization

    • Average Credit Age

    • Available Credit

    • Personal Credit Funding

    • Funding Estimate

    • Confidence Score

    • Trended Income

    • Trended Debt

    • Trended Debt to Income

    • Late Payments

    • Collections

    • Qualified for BNPL

    • Confidence Score BNPL

    • Funding Estimate BNPL

    • Total Monthly Obligation

    • Approval Rate

    • Qualification Status

    • Is Qualified

    • Frozen

    • No Hit

    • Decline Reasons

  • Field names must match exactly in your CRM, or the Zap will not map them correctly

GoHighLevel Setup

How do I set up my lead form in GoHighLevel?

  • In your GHL sub-account, go to Sites → Forms → Create Form → Start from Scratch

  • Add your standard fields (First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, plus any qualifying questions)

  • Add a Terms and Conditions element, replace the default text with your consent language, and set it to Required

  • Save and preview to confirm the box must be checked before the form can submit

How do I add the "Qualifier Consent Granted" field in GHL?

  • Go to Settings → Custom Fields → Create field

  • Set the field type to Checkbox, name it Qualifier Consent Granted, add it to the Contact object, and use a folder/group like "Qualifier"

  • Note: both contact.fb_qualifier_consent_granted and contact.qualifier_consent_granted are accepted. The field name must match exactly, with no extra spaces or typos

How do I auto-check consent when the form is submitted?

  • In Automation, create a workflow from scratch

  • Set the trigger to Form Submitted, filtered to your lead form, with a second filter of Terms and Conditions → Yes

  • Add an Update Contact Field action that sets Qualifier Consent Granted to Yes

  • Save and Publish the workflow

How do I sync enriched data back to GHL?

  • First create a custom field in GHL for each Qualifier field you want to store (see the field list above; use Number or Single-line text, and Multi-line text for Decline Reasons)

  • On Zapier, GHL is listed as LeadConnector. Create a Zap with two steps:

    • Step 1: Qualify Leads (FanBasis) — triggers when a lead is qualified

    • Step 2: Add/Update Contact (LeadConnector) — finds the contact by email or phone and updates it in one step

  • Map Name, Email, Phone, Qualifier Consent Granted, and the enriched fields, then test and Publish

Close Setup

How do I add the "Qualifier Consent Granted" field in Close?

  • Go to Settings → Customization → Custom Fields, with the Leads tab selected

  • Click + New Lead Custom Field, set the type to Dropdown (single), and name it Qualifier Consent Granted with a choice value of exactly "Qualifier Consent Granted"

  • The type must be Dropdown (single) and the choice value must match exactly: that is what Qualifier looks for when syncing consent

How do I sync enriched data back to Close?

  • Create a custom field in Close (Leads tab) for each Qualifier field you want to store (Number or Text per the field list above)

  • On Zapier, Close is listed as Close. Create a Zap with three steps:

    • Step 1: Qualify Leads (FanBasis) — triggers when a lead is qualified

    • Step 2: Find Lead (Close) — locates the existing lead by email

    • Step 3: Update Lead (Close) — writes the enriched data to the lead

  • Map Email in Step 2, then map Name, Email, Phone, Qualifier Consent Granted, and the enriched fields in Step 3, then test and Publish

HubSpot Setup

How do I add the "Qualifier Consent Granted" property in HubSpot?

  • Go to Settings → Data Management → Properties, select Contact properties, and click Create property

  • Set the Property Label to Qualifier Consent Granted, internal name fb_qualifier_consent_granted, and field type Single checkbox, then save

How do I sync enriched data back to HubSpot?

  • Create a Contact property in HubSpot for each Qualifier field you want to store (number, single-line text, or multi-line text for Decline Reasons, per the field list above)

  • On Zapier, create a Zap with three steps:

    • Step 1: Qualify Leads (FanBasis) — triggers when a lead is qualified

    • Step 2: Find Contact (HubSpot) — finds the contact by Name, Email, and Phone

    • Step 3: Update Contact (HubSpot) — updates the contact with the enriched data

  • Map the enriched fields in Step 3, then test and Publish

Creating Leads from Typeform

Can I create CRM contacts from a Typeform automatically?

  • Yes. Use a Zapier Zap that triggers on New entry (Typeform) and creates or updates the contact/lead in your CRM

  • Map at least Name, Email, Phone Number, and Qualifier Consent Granted

  • For GHL, use Add/Update Contact (LeadConnector); for Close and HubSpot, use a Find step followed by a Create/Update step to avoid duplicate records

Exporting and Billing

Can I export my leads?

  • Yes. Use the export option to download a filtered or selected set of leads (with a chosen date range) as a CSV

  • This is useful for reporting or for loading leads into tools you manage outside the supported CRM integrations

How is Qualifier billed?

  • Qualifier usage is metered per enrichment against your account's plan and enrichment limits

  • Your available enrichment volume is tracked at the account level; reach out to your Account Manager for specifics on your plan and limits

Troubleshooting

A lead did not return any data.

  • Not every lead can be matched. A "no hit" means the providers could not find data for that person

  • Confirm the lead's name, email, and phone are accurate, as poor contact data lowers match rates

Enriched data is not appearing in my CRM.

  • Confirm the matching custom fields exist in your CRM and the names match the Qualifier field names exactly

  • Check that your Zap is published and that the Qualify Leads (FanBasis) trigger is firing

  • For Close and HubSpot, confirm the Find step is locating the right record (usually by email) before the update step runs

Consent is not syncing.

  • Confirm the "Qualifier Consent Granted" field exists with the exact name and type required for your CRM (Checkbox in GHL, Dropdown single in Close, Single checkbox in HubSpot)

  • For GHL, confirm the workflow that sets the field to "Yes" on form submission is published
